Here, the focus is on improving active flexibility and increasing strength while introducing more complex acrobatic movements. Reserved for advanced practitioners, the Pro level is all about acrobatics. These classes focus on extreme aerial moves, heavy work with the hammock, and exercises that require immense strength and flexibility. In Pro, you’ll learn to maintain a split in the hammock and perform jaw-dropping acrobatic feats. Due to the complexity and strength required, Pro classes are not held regularly at our Zurich studio but are offered during special workshops with guest trainers.

An essential part of every Aerostretching class is the turned-out position. This movement helps elongate your spinal cord and relaxes the muscles along your spine. It’s incorporated into every class to ensure your spine is stretched and aligned, leaving you feeling taller, more relaxed, and more in tune with your body’s natural movement.

While Aerostretching offers numerous benefits, it’s not suitable for everyone. Pregnant women, regardless of their stage in pregnancy, should avoid this class due to the risk it poses to both the mother and child. High-intensity aerial movements can cause complications, including miscarriage or excessive strain.

Additionally, individuals with health conditions like high or low blood pressure should consult their doctor before attending. The nature of aerial exercises and turned-out positions can put undue pressure on the blood vessels, potentially leading to serious complications.

We offer three levels of Aerostretching:

• Light: Perfect for beginners or those returning to exercise, this level focuses on basic strength and flexibility exercises, with some light acrobatics.
• Base: Designed for people with fitness experience, this level introduces more complex acrobatic movements while continuing to build strength and flexibility.
• Pro: For advanced practitioners, this level focuses heavily on acrobatic skills with the hammock, extreme strength exercises, and maintaining splits in the air.

Absolutely! Aerostretching pairs perfectly with our Healthy Back class. While Aerostretching helps to elongate and strengthen your spine, Healthy Back focuses on spinal health and posture muscles. Together, they provide a holistic approach to back pain relief and overall flexibility.

Aerostretching is not recommended for:
